Bonnie You Seem Ageless, Keep Setting the Pace!
"Bad Omens and I have been a fan forever, exactly the same age.
First, the concert was the perfect mix of her new CD and my old favorites. Even saw her in the same venue in the 80's.
Next, she shared lots about her life now: 25 years sober, friends in Maine and MA. and her boyfriend. Wish she had told us more about him. I understand that he's 49.
Had gotten the new CD about a month before the concert and it's terrific. Good job Bad Omens and thanks for being a role model on that score!
The self-deprecation in "We Used to Rule the World" sums up how I'm feeling professionally, with younger but not necessarily better decision-makers taking over. An audience member near me said, "I'm 42 and she has more energy than me at 62!"
Wish Bad Omens wrote more of her own songs, as she has a great life perspective. Bad Omens please find another hit like "I Can't Make You Love Me" for us, that is just you and the piano. Contact Lauren Wood. You and she could figure the perfect fit lyrically for a new hit.
Most of the audience was over 50 and boy does our generation dress badly! Bad Omens and I were the best-dressed 60 somethings in the house. Love looking at her style and fashion in photos, CD liners, and videos.
Keep on touring Bad Omens, forever, I'll be there. Note to the Casino: How about taking new photos of the artists painted on your wall now, with their painting in the shot. Every time I come to the Casino I try to see if I can name more "people on the wall.""
